From its early years it was considered the “queen” of seating, both for the privacy it offered with its open arms, high back and turned sides, and for its dominance of the space as a decorative element. The Bergere armchair changed its appearance over the years (depending on the season and fashion). Dressed in floral fabrics, leather, many different patterns with various textures, even Chesterfield.
