CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The entire deckchair is made of solid fir (spruce) wood. Fir is a type of evergreen coniferous tree, strong and durable. It has a good finish and low resistance to decay.
Impregnation in the broadest sense is the coloring of wood (usually varnishes) by the dipping method. The normal impregnation of the wood, however, is done in a furnace under pressure. In there, the wood, through the application of a preservative substance, gets protected for many years from fungi and insects, as a result of which it acquires a lifespan many times longer than that of non-impregnated wood.

Stainless steel screws are used in the leg joints for real resistance to time and atmospheric and weather conditions.

MAINTENANCE:
The key to keeping your deckchair looking like new for many years is regular cleaning with a damp cloth to remove the saltiness. If you want, you can use special varnishes that are on the market and protect the wood.
